ELIZABETHTON TWINS PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL

The professional Single 'A' Farm Team of the Minnesota Twins arrives each June and is followed all summer long. Every baseball fan in Carter County tunes in virtually every night for the best professional baseball coverage in all of the Tri-Cities of Tennessee.

ELIZABETHTON HlGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL

When the baseball pros go home for the year, the Fighting Cyclones of Elizabethton High School take to the gridiron for the Autumn Friday night contests that sell more spectator tickets than any other community function in Elizabethton or Carter County. Reputed to be the most highly rated Friday night broadcast in the Tri-Cities, John Holsclaw and Dale Fair provide the play-by-play, wrap-up and pre-game show interviews with personalities of local high school football.

CARTER COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL

When football is over in the late fall, all five Carter County High Schools turn their attention to the 'Round-ball'. With a typical minimum of two games weekly, John Holsclaw continues the local sports season with pre-game, play-by-play and wrap-up, coverage of the Carter County High School basketball rivalries and the conference games through the postseason tournaments from mid-February to early or mid-March.
